Women Entrepreneurs Gathered Together... 'Management Training' in Jindo

Presentations on Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs' Management Cases by Region and More

The largest event for women entrepreneurs in Korea, the ‘National Women CEO Management Training,’ is being held.

The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced that the management training will take place on the 11th and 12th at the indoor gymnasium in Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, under the slogan “3.14 Million Women Entrepreneurs, Together Towards the Future!”

The Women Entrepreneurs Association’s management training has been held annually since 1999, rotating nationwide to enhance the management capabilities and business networking of women entrepreneurs. Approximately 1,000 women entrepreneurs from across the country gathered for this event.

On the opening day, the 11th, the program included a vision proclamation ceremony, a special lecture by Professor Choi In-beom of Sogang University titled “Recent Changes in International Affairs and the Response Direction of Women Entrepreneurs,” a presentation by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on “Current Status and Policy Introduction of Women Entrepreneurs,” presentations on outstanding management cases of women-owned businesses by region, and networking among attendees.

Additionally, side events such as women-owned business exhibition booths, management consulting for women entrepreneurs, and recruitment counseling sessions were held.

Lee Jeong-han, president of the Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, “I am very pleased to hold a place for exchange and communication for women CEOs in Jindo, a region rich in the culture and arts that embody the history and spirit of our nation,” adding, “I hope today’s event becomes a platform for cooperation and harmony as women entrepreneurs move forward together into the future.”
