Next Elevation Startup Demo Day Held
Jang Chageun, CEO of MyHouse, Expresses Determination to Innovate Interior Market
"Consumers can directly choose the budget and design for interior construction and receive detailed estimates and construction services in a one-stop process." Jang Cha-geun, CEO of MyHouse, stated that he aims to solve the problems consumers have faced in the interior market through standardization.
MyHouse took the stage second at the '2023 Next Elevation Demo Day The Beginning,' hosted by startup accelerator Next Elevation at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 7th.
CEO Jang diagnosed, "Despite interior design being a high-priced product, consumers often make purchases with uncertainty," adding, "This is because estimates, needs, design, and construction quality are not standardized." Given the large size of the interior market, this translates into significant consumer harm. Although various platforms have emerged to meet consumer needs, the fundamental problems remain unresolved. CEO Jang said, "A professional consultation process is necessary to reduce damages during the interior process, but it takes an average of six hours to reach a contract, which requires a lot of time."

MyHouse’s solution is to standardize construction areas by unit size and construction lists by space to achieve uniform interior quality. CEO Jang explained, "We also standardized consumer needs through images," adding, "We structured this into modules to commercialize and provide them. Customers can select their desired image space and immediately receive an estimate."
On the construction side, 'MySolution' simplifies the entire interior process, including construction and order management, and enhances construction quality. CEO Jang said, "MySolution is a construction standardization manual linked to the estimate module," adding, "We will supply it to site managers, who are key personnel in the market, enabling them to become experts aiming for an annual salary of 100 million KRW."
MyHouse will launch a pilot service for an interior solution that provides high-quality design at low cost in January next year. The sales target for 2024 is 12.6 billion KRW. The plan is to grow annual sales to 336 billion KRW by 2027. CEO Jang emphasized, "We will become the standard in the interior market."
