Goyoung Technology (hereinafter Goyoung) has proven its competitiveness on the global stage.
On the 30th, Goyoung announced that it had won the Global Technology Award at Productronica 2023, the world's largest electronic production equipment exhibition.
Productronica 2023, held over four days from the 14th in Munich, Germany, is a biennial global event. This year, about 900 companies from around the world participated, showcasing various electronic technologies and equipment. On the first day of the event, the '2023 Global Technology Awards' ceremony, hosted by the exhibition's media partner 'Global SMT & Packaging,' took place.
The Global Technology Award that Goyoung received is given to the most outstanding company based on evaluations of product quality, innovation, and more. Goyoung's submitted solder paste inspection equipment, the 'KY8030-3 USX,' was highly praised for improving yield across various process stages. Its independently developed 3D measurement inspection technology enabled precise inspection of large printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a single pass without transfer, which was a key factor.
Goyoung's exhibition space, honored with the award, was crowded with hundreds of visitors from various countries. Goyoung introduced its next-generation component mounting inspection equipment, the 'Zenith 2 UHS,' for the first time to visitors. Equipped with a new optical system enabling high-speed inspection, it received favorable reviews from automotive industry clients requiring mass production.
A Goyoung representative said, "We are grateful to have our technology recognized in Europe, where many of our customers are based, through this award. We will continue to present more advanced products in line with the rapidly changing customer processes and secure a competitive edge in the global market."
Meanwhile, Goyoung, which holds a high market share in the semiconductor post-process inspection equipment sector, participated in a semiconductor conference during the exhibition to share its know-how. With industry insiders and customers in attendance, Goyoung introduced its technologies, products, and solutions under the theme of semiconductor advanced packaging.
