POSCO E&C Operates Specialized Program for Win-Win Growth with Partners

POSCO E&C announced on the 29th that it held this year's Win-Win Growth Support Group performance exchange and communication event at The Sharp Gallery 2.0 on the 28th.

The event featured presentations of outstanding cases related to the major achievements of the Win-Win Growth Support Group throughout the year, followed by awards, and provided an opportunity for free communication with partners on safety, environment, and procurement. About 100 company executives and representatives of excellent partner companies attended.


In line with its new corporate identity this year, POSCO E&C's Win-Win Growth Support Group carried the catchphrase "Eco & Challenge Together" and conducted activities aimed at practically enhancing the capabilities of its business partners, the partner companies.


Specifically, the company utilized its capabilities and infrastructure to operate six specialized programs in three areas where partners face difficulties: safety, quality, and technology. It focused on supporting legal safety training, quality defect education, and joint technology development needed by small and medium-sized partners, with a total of 5,970 participants from 221 partner companies.


Attendees also shared and communicated on issues faced by small and medium-sized partners, such as cases of violations of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, partner-participatory environmental management, procurement policies, and directions for promoting win-win growth. They also experienced POSCO E&C’s sustainable residential culture through a tour of The Sharp Gallery and an art exhibition.


POSCO E&C emphasized that it is dedicating efforts to strengthening the Win-Win Growth Support Group to provide practical help to small and medium-sized partners. The company plans to continuously discover and operate specialized programs for building an eco-friendly future society together with its partners.


Yoon Soon-jin, CEO of Samyoung Stone Construction, selected as an outstanding partner company, said, "The activities of the Win-Win Growth Support Group were a great help in developing an eco-friendly stone adhesive method that had remained a mere idea." He added, "We will strive to contribute to cost reduction for both companies as well as to the practice of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management through on-site application in the future."


Meanwhile, in addition to the Win-Win Growth Support Group, POSCO E&C operates various win-win growth programs such as the low-price limit bidding system, Win-Win Growth & ESG funds and mutual cooperation funds, and support for partner companies' funeral supplies. As a result, POSCO E&C has earned the highest grade for two consecutive years in the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation announced by the Win-Win Growth Committee.
