Korea Zinc Sustainable Management Wins Platinum at US 'LAPC Awards'

Korea Zinc has been recognized for its communication efforts regarding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities by the most prestigious overseas communication institution.

Korea Zinc announced on the 23rd that its '2022 Sustainability Management Report' won the Platinum Award at the 'LACP 2023 Spotlight Awards' hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).

LACP is an organization established by global public relations and marketing professionals in the United States, which annually evaluates and awards sustainability management reports and annual reports published by companies and organizations worldwide. The Spotlight Awards attract participation from over 500 companies and institutions across 12 countries each year.

Korea Zinc's Sustainability Management Report received perfect scores in five evaluation categories, including descriptiveness and creativity, achieving a final score of 99 out of 100, earning the Platinum Award given to the top 40 companies.

Under the vision of "Refining today for a prosperous future of humanity and preparing for a new tomorrow," Korea Zinc has been publishing its sustainability management report since 2021.

This year, in addition to the report covering overall ESG management, current status, and achievements, Korea Zinc also released an ESG Data Book containing quantitative data.
