Start of Basic and Detailed Design for Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project

On November 16, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a kickoff meeting for the basic and detailed design of the 'Cheongsong Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project' at the Future Leap Office of the county office.

The county started the basic and detailed design of the Cheongsong Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project from November 8, following a proposal contest, aiming to improve residential conditions for young people and support youth housing to create a Cheongsong where young people return and want to stay.

The Cheongsong Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project is intended to support youth housing. The project site is located in Wolmak-ri, Cheongsong-eup, with a total project cost of 8 billion KRW. It plans to supply 43 units across three buildings on a site area of 1,179㎡ and a total floor area of 1,650㎡.

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “Through the Cheongsong Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project, we will support stable housing for the youth by providing units at prices lower than the surrounding market rates, and we will also strive to contribute to revitalizing the local economy.”
