The national drone soccer tournament was organized to promote Buk-gu's drone policies, which focus on revitalizing drone leisure culture and fostering the drone industry by hosting nationwide drone sports events utilizing Buk-gu's advanced drone infrastructure.

Now in its third year, this tournament will feature 32 teams composed of about 300 drone enthusiasts from across the country, competing in three leagues, along with various event booths themed around drones.

Awards will be given to the top four teams in each league, including plaques and prizes, with prize money totaling approximately 12 million KRW distributed according to ranking.

A Buk-gu official stated, "This tournament will be a great opportunity to showcase the experience and know-how Buk-gu has accumulated in drone development nationwide," adding, "Since the drone industry is a competitive new growth engine for the region, we will continue to make Buk-gu the nation's leading city for drone development through organic collaboration among industry, academia, research, and government."
