4253 Households to Be Released This Year in 5 Regional Areas Without Sales for 2 Years

69 Districts with No New Housing Supply Since 2022
Among Them, Andong in Gyeongbuk and Janghang District in Goyang Draw Attention

New supply is scheduled in areas experiencing a shortage of new construction or where supply has been scarce recently, drawing attention. Especially in regions with insufficient supply, relatively favorable subscription results have been recorded, raising interest in whether this subscription enthusiasm will continue.

According to the housing sales industry on the 31st, 'The Sharp Ochang Prestige,' supplied in Ochang-eup, Cheongju-si, a supply-scarce area, received a total of 6,216 subscription applications for 479 units (excluding special supply) during the first-priority subscription on September 1, showing an average competition rate of 12.97 to 1. It succeeded in attracting attention as a newly supplied apartment complex in the Ochang-eup area of Cheongju-si, where there had been no supply for a long time.


According to Real Estate R114, among 229 cities, counties, and districts nationwide, 69 places had no supply for two years from 2022 to this year. Among these, 4,253 units are scheduled to be supplied within this year in five regions. By region, these include Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do (1,297 units), Sasang-gu, Busan (935 units), Andong, Gyeongbuk (820 units), and Boryeong, Chungnam (971 units).


First, in Andong, Gyeongbuk, where new supply is insufficient, Hoban Construction will supply ‘Andong Hoban We Park’ next month. It consists of 820 units in 9 buildings ranging from 84 to 101 square meters in exclusive area, with 3 basement floors and 27 floors above ground. The complex is the first private park-special project apartment supplied in Andong, Gyeongbuk. Most of the 200,000 square meter site in Ok-dong, Andong-si, will be developed as an urban park for citizens, with some parts developed as multi-family housing. Since the complex is located inside the park, it will be built as a park-front complex where residents can directly enjoy the park.


In the Ilsan area, which is already a completed new town with almost no new supply, housing units are coming out after a long time. Jeil Construction will supply ‘Goyang Janghang Jeil Punggyeongchae’ next month in B2 block of Janghang District, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The complex consists of 1,184 units in 11 buildings, ranging from 84 square meters in exclusive area, with 2 basement floors and 29 floors above ground. It draws more attention as the first private sale apartment in the Goyang Janghang District, a public land development district along the Han River with high scarcity value in the metropolitan area. Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school sites are planned within walking distance from the complex.


Additionally, in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, GS Construction will supply ‘Gochon Central Xi’ in A3 block of Singok 6 District, Gochon-eup, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do in October. The complex consists of 1,297 units and neighborhood living facilities, with 17 buildings ranging from 63 to 105 square meters in exclusive apartment area, and from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 16 floors above ground.
