Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and Parnas Hotel Jeju, operated by Parnas Hotel, announced on the 31st that they won the ‘Luxury Lifestyle Hotel’ and ‘Luxury Destination Hotel’ categories respectively at the ‘World Luxury Hotel Awards 2023.’ They also won awards in the dining category, achieving a total of nine awards.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards is an award that selects the world’s top-tier hotels based on votes from over 300,000 customers and industry experts. Parnas Hotel Jeju won the World Luxury Hotel Award as the only hotel in Jeju, a fiercely competitive area for luxury hotels, just one year after its opening.
Under the banner of ‘True Luxury,’ Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas has pursued an aggressive marketing strategy over the past year to provide customers with a truly luxurious lifestyle experience. They introduced luxury ‘Artcance’ packages linked with events such as ‘Frieze Seoul 2023’ and ‘Start Art Korea,’ as well as high-quality permanent exhibitions. In August, they also presented ‘The Royal Wedding Soiree,’ a midsummer night wedding concept held in the beautiful garden of a grand French mansion.
Parnas Hotel Jeju is recognized as a luxury destination favored not only by domestic but also international customers. Facilities boasting grand scale, such as the ‘Pondmer Lounge & Deli,’ which became a must-visit photo spot in Jeju after being featured in the popular drama ‘King the Land,’ have won the hearts of many guests. Located closest to the sea among the Jeju Jungmun luxury hotels, Parnas Hotel Jeju has recently emerged as a popular destination for outdoor garden weddings.
Parnas Hotel won seven awards in the dining category at the ‘World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2023.’ The Japanese fine dining restaurant ‘Hakone’ at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas won in the Fine Dining Cuisine and Japanese Cuisine categories, while the modern Chinese restaurant ‘Weilu’ won in the Luxury Hotel Restaurant and Chinese Cuisine categories. The authentic Italian restaurant ‘Sky Lounge’ at InterContinental Seoul COEX won in the Italian Cuisine category, and the Asian cuisine restaurant ‘Asian Live’ won in the Fine Dining and Asian Cuisine categories.
A representative of Parnas Hotel said, “Parnas Hotel is establishing itself as a trendsetter by closely analyzing customers’ consumption tendencies and proposing new products and services,” adding, “We will do our best to provide customers with a differentiated luxury experience.”
