The police received a complaint from Bang around mid-last month and had been investigating A on charges of attempted murder.

The police sent A to the prosecution on charges of special intimidation instead of attempted murder.

After continuing his protest for 227 days, Bang attempted self-immolation on the 26th of last month and ultimately passed away on the 6th, ten days after the self-immolation.
