G&Bs Eco announced on the 23rd that it recorded the highest overseas export amount ever for the third quarter.
According to G&Bs Eco's export data, the cumulative overseas sales for the third quarter are estimated to exceed approximately 60 billion KRW. This represents a 90% increase compared to the same period last year.
The expansion of solar power businesses in China, India, and the United States drove the growth in overseas sales. The proportion of overseas sales accounts for about 80% of total sales, with China, India, and the United States ranking highest in order. The China region recorded over 45 billion KRW, growing 50% compared to the same period last year. This accounts for about 60% of total overseas sales. Additionally, solar power sales surged in new regions such as India and the United States.
A company official explained, "We expect to continue breaking records for the highest sales not only for the third quarter but also on an annual basis."
Performance is also anticipated in the global semiconductor sector. As the semiconductor industry has entered a recovery phase, discussions on supply are ongoing with leading global semiconductor companies. This week, strategic meetings will be held in Singapore with Micron Technology (hereafter Micron) Singapore Fab and STMicroelectronics (hereafter STMicro) Singapore branch.
A company official stated, "Since we are preparing for demo version equipment tests with STMicro Singapore, this business trip to Singapore is expected to accelerate large-scale supply discussions," adding, "We anticipate continuous expansion of overseas sales of eco-friendly process equipment, such as scrubbers, which are our main products, centered on semiconductors and solar power."
