Startup CoworkWithUs Co., Ltd. (CEO Jin-Young Kim), which operates a foreigner recruitment and visa solution platform, announced that it has been finally selected for the TIPS program, a private investment-led technology startup support program. CoworkWithUs was selected through an investment from JB Ventures (co-CEOs Sang-Hoon Yoo and Kwon-Hee Han), the TIPS operator, and a TIPS recommendation.
TIPS is a private-led technology startup fostering program jointly run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and private investors, selecting promising startups with outstanding business models and world-leading technologies to support research and development costs. CoworkWithUs, having been finally selected for TIPS, will receive up to 700 million KRW in R&D funding and investment over two years.
As a pioneer in foreign recruitment platforms that directly address South Korea’s demographic challenges by matching multinational talent with domestic companies, CoworkWithUs currently serves as a bridge through its mobile app "KOWORK," providing employment opportunities to foreigners and global talent acquisition opportunities to companies.
In particular, alongside global talent matching, it offers a one-stop solution for administrative procedures such as visa roadmap design, rapidly growing by securing over 11,000 users within one month of launching the mobile app "KOWORK" last month.
Through the TIPS program, CoworkWithUs plans to maximize user convenience and efficiency by developing a job recommendation engine that increases matching success rates and an AI-powered visa automation system to handle chronic and complex visa administrative procedures.
CEO Jin-Young Kim of CoworkWithUs stated, “At a time when attracting global talent to Korea is crucial due to rapid population decline,” adding, “We aim to resolve mismatches experienced by global talent and companies and grow into a reliable and essential platform for foreigners wishing to work in Korea.”
