Fila launches '2023 Motorcore Collection' with ambassador Han So-hee

Fila announced on the 12th that it will launch the ‘2023 Motorcore Collection’ together with its global brand ambassador Han So-hee.

The Fila 2023 Motorcore Collection draws inspiration from motorsports, which is deeply rooted in the brand’s heritage. In fact, Fila developed its motorsports collection in the 2000s through collaborations with motorcycle and sports car brands such as Ducati and Ferrari. The collection reinterprets Fila’s unique motorsports heritage with Han So-hee’s distinctive style, showcased through various works, creating a modern sensibility characterized by a rugged yet freely sophisticated look.

Through the Motorcore Collection, Fila proposes the ‘Bike Core Look,’ which is gaining attention as a major trend this season. The Bike Core Look is a portmanteau of ‘bike’ and ‘normcore,’ a trend that has led fashion in recent years, referring to styles that combine leather jackets or boots with everyday wear. Fila’s Motorcore Collection offers designs with relaxed yet stylish fits and a strong personality that stands out even in casual, comfortable outfits. It suggests pairing with various outerwear or leather products to create a special ‘Bike Core Look.’

The signature items of the Motorcore Collection are the ‘Motorcore Padded Jacket’ and the ‘Motorcore Colorblock Pants.’ Designed around one of the brand’s representative colors, red, these pieces evoke a strong motorsports mood through their material texture and patch details. Additionally, the ‘Seam Point Setup’ features standout seam details and color-blocking on the front. This setup includes a lightweight hooded jacket and pants with adjustable hems via drawstrings, designed to be worn together as a coordinated outfit.
