Ryuten Signs Business Agreement with Korea MS to Collaborate on Enhancing AI Service Performance

Support for Ryuten Service Expansion and AI Ecosystem Growth

Rytan Technologies, aspiring to be an artificial intelligence (AI) portal company, recently signed a business agreement with Microsoft Korea (MS) to promote and expand generative AI services.


Through this, the two companies plan to collaborate on ▲supporting the distribution and expansion of Rytan AI services based on Azure in domestic and non-English-speaking markets ▲technical cooperation to enhance the performance and security of Rytan AI services ▲expanding the domestic AI ecosystem.

Rytan has been utilizing MS's 'Azure OpenAI Service' for various generative AI services such as AI chatbots, plugins, applications, and development tools. Through the Azure OpenAI Service, they have supplied excellent AI models like ChatGPT and GPT-4.


Se-young Lee, CEO of Rytan, said, "Since MS is conducting startup-friendly business, we will strive to maximize the synergy between the two companies through this cooperation."


Won-woo Cho, CEO of Microsoft Korea, stated, "We will actively support Rytan's generative AI service development and infrastructure construction to help create a healthy AI startup ecosystem, promote technological innovation, and improve customer experience."


Since officially launching its service in January, Rytan surpassed 1 million cumulative subscribers in just over seven months. In June, it secured Series A investment worth 15 billion KRW from Capstone Partners and others.
