Food kit consisting of ribs, fruit, and rice cake set created to support family bonding activities
Distribution of Chuseok kits to 16 families of abused children living in Naju and Yeonggwang
The Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency announced on the 25th that it has produced and distributed a "Chuseok Kit" consisting of various types of food products and program activity sheets that support bonding activities among families in celebration of the national holiday, Chuseok.
The "Chuseok Kit" is composed of a set of galbi, fruits, and rice cakes, and also includes program activity sheets that allow families to share and exchange their thoughts together.
The kit was distributed to 16 families participating in case management at the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency.
The "Chuseok Kit" was prepared by combining sponsorship funds from donors wishing for children who are victims of child abuse and their families in the local community to have a bountiful Chuseok holiday, along with part of the budget from the "Visit Knock Knock! Heart Talk!" project conducted by the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency to restore family functions and prevent re-abuse.
Yu Gi-yong, director of the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, said, "We are pleased to produce the Chuseok Kit that families can enjoy together in celebration of the national holiday, Chuseok," adding, "We hope that through the Chuseok Kit, children and families can have an exceptionally happy and joyful holiday, and the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency will continue to do its best for the happy and safe lives of children and family members."
