Imsil-gun to Hold Okjeongho Suspension Bridge Promotion Concert on the 27th

On the 21st, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced that on the 27th at 2 p.m., a promotional concert featuring trot stars will be held at the special stage in front of the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge plaza to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the opening of the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge and Bungeo Island Ecological Park.

At this concert, top domestic trot singers will deliver an exciting performance to tourists, including An Seong-hoon, who won the championship on the popular program Mr. Trot 2, Hong Ji-yoon, a finalist of Miss Trot 2, trot fairy Kang Ye-seul, and Mr. Chu Choo Hyuk-jin.

Accordingly, the county is conducting a YouTube subscriber event to wish for the success of the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge 1st anniversary promotional concert.

Through the official YouTube channel of Imsil-gun Office, ‘ImsilN TV,’ they are encouraging subscribers to participate by spreading the word about the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge promotional concert, writing three-line acrostic poems with the word ‘Okjeongho’ in the comments, and wishing for the concert’s success, thereby promoting it online.

This event, running until the 27th, can be participated in by subscribing and liking the Imsil-gun Office YouTube channel ‘ImsilN TV,’ sending certification shots, writing three-line acrostic poems about Okjeongho in the comments, and spreading the word about the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge promotional concert.

Among the participants, 150 people will be selected by lottery to receive prizes consisting of Imsil string cheese (20g x 10 packs) and Imsil cheese hot dogs (90g x 5 pieces).

In particular, to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the opening, all tourists will be allowed free admission to Bungeo Island Ecological Park without any entrance fee, and they can enter the park by crossing the suspension bridge without a separate ticketing procedure.

Additionally, along with the commemorative ceremony, a singing contest for residents of Woonam, Okjeongho will be held, creating a joyful festival where tourists and residents come together.

County Governor Shim Min said, “To celebrate the 1st anniversary of the opening of the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge and the Chuseok holiday, we are holding an exciting promotional concert for visitors returning to their hometowns and tourists,” and added, “We ask for your interest and cooperation so that many people participate in the YouTube subscriber event and the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge 1st anniversary promotional concert can be a success.”
