Yeoncheon-gun to Hold 'Ore: Bit Jaein Waterfall' Media Facade Exhibition for One Month Starting September 22

Gyeonggi Province and Yeoncheon County announced that the media facade exhibition "Ore:bit," set against the backdrop of Yeoncheon’s UNESCO Global Geopark attraction, Jaein Waterfall, will be held for one month from September 22 to October 22.

The exhibition title "Ore:bit" is a compound of "Orbit" (to revolve around the whole) and "bit" (light), and it is themed around the time experienced by light on the earth. Visitors can vividly experience up close the process of light traveling through space falling onto Jaein Waterfall and settling into the natural scenery.

At the media facade performance unfolding on the columnar joints of Jaein Waterfall, visitors can discover a unique charm of the waterfall. During the day, the waterfall cascading over the beautiful cliffs captures attention, while at night, the dazzling visuals projected above the waterfall captivate visitors’ eyes and ears.

This exhibition is free to attend without prior reservation, but for safety reasons, the number of visitors allowed in front of the waterfall is limited. Visitors who wish to enjoy immersive content with maximized sound through wireless headsets close to the waterfall are encouraged to make advance reservations via Naver.

The opening ceremony on the evening of Friday, September 22, will feature a jazz busking performance, non-verbal performances, photo zones, and other enjoyable activities. It is expected that visitors will be able to fully enjoy the media facade exhibition reflected on the columnar joints’ spectacular scenery, doubled by the autumn night jazz music.
