"Bangreo Program Continues Ongoing"
Kim Jong-un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea, who is visiting Russia, reportedly enjoyed a ballet performance after inspecting military facilities.
On the 16th (local time), Russian news agency Interfax, citing the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources' Telegram, reported that Chairman Kim watched the ballet performance of "The Sleeping Beauty" held at the Mariinsky Theatre Primorsky in Vladivostok that evening.
The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that Chairman Kim, Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Chairman of the Russia-North Korea Intergovernmental Committee, and Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of Primorsky Krai, also attended the performance.
Chairman Kim arrived at the Mariinsky Theatre by limousine and took a seat in the central section on the 4th floor about five minutes before the performance started, according to RIA Novosti. It is reported that he left the theatre after the first act of the ballet.
The performance was sold out, and thorough inspections were conducted on the audience at the entrance.
Vladivostok was expected to be the final destination of Chairman Kim's visit to Russia. However, Alexander Matsegora, Russian Ambassador to North Korea, said, "The visit program is ongoing," and it is unknown when he will return to North Korea.
Earlier, upon arriving in Vladivostok, Chairman Kim inspected Kinzhal missiles and strategic fighter jets at a military airfield and then visited the Pacific Fleet to tour anti-submarine escort ships. On the 13th, he held a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast. The day before, he visited an aircraft factory in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai.
