Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the ‘Seonyuro Day’ festival held on the morning of the 9th around exits 2 and 6 of Seonyudo Station in the ‘Seonyuro Market’ area.

The district, following the ‘Seonyunoreum’ event held last June, prepared the ‘Seonyuro Day’ festival to allow visitors to fully enjoy the charming alleys and delights of the quaint Seonyuro Market in anticipation of the upcoming autumn season.

The festival, held over two days from September 8 to 9, consisted of ▲ Seonyu Market Zone with a flea market ▲ Music Photo Zone where visitors could take and print photos ▲ Experience Exhibition Zone full of hands-on activities ▲ Signature Zone featuring a bubble tree forest ▲ Food Zone offering alley market foods ▲ and Market Promotion Zone with various events prepared.

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, “I hope this festival will help the ‘Seonyuro Market’ become a representative market in Seoul with sustainability, self-reliance, and diverse attractions,” adding, “We will continue to provide generous support so that small but precious alley markets can receive the interest and love of district residents.”
