‘Dokdo Got Talent’ on Ulleungdo... Showcasing Creativity on the Theme of Dokdo

On the 25th, Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, held the 'Dokdo Got Talent' event with a total prize of 10 million won at the special stage in Dodong Port Small Park.

'Dokdo Got Talent' is a project that provides participants with a stage to showcase their creativity and abilities on the theme of Dokdo, promoting new K-culture and the territory of the Republic of Korea to the world.

On that day, among 30 teams, those who passed the preliminary screening?Dabut (traditional Korean music band), K-Tigers Woori Ai Demonstration Team (Taekwondo performance), Maldomalji (pop music), G-Dance (dance), Isaecksori (pop-performance), and Combat (hip-hop dance)?heated up the night of Ulleungdo. The grand prize went to the K-Tigers Woori Ai Demonstration Team, who took home 5 million won.

Nam Han-kwon, the mayor of Ulleung-gun, said, “This event is even more meaningful as a festival that reaffirms the love for Dokdo in a new way,” and added, “We hope for much interest and support so that it can establish itself as a signature competition of Ulleungdo and Dokdo.”
