Remaining Jamboree Members Enjoy Fun at Hongdae Red Road

Participants from Various Countries Enjoy Exploring Restaurants and Shopping in Hongdae Red Road, Mapo-gu After Official Schedule of Jamboree

Participants from various countries who have completed the official schedule of the '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree' at Hongdae Red Road in Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) are enjoying the remaining days in Korea by exploring local restaurants and shopping.

The district posted 11 banners on the 8th, featuring the phone number of the Mapo Tourism Information Center and welcoming messages for jamboree members visiting Hongdae Red Road, and is providing tourism information and addressing inconveniences through the center.

Additionally, on the night of the 11th and the afternoon of the 13th, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu, along with senior officials, visited the Red Road site to inspect street safety and cleanliness.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, “I would like to express my gratitude to all residents and staff for uniting as one to successfully conclude this jamboree event throughout Mapo-gu. Until all remaining jamboree participants leave Korea, Mapo-gu will continue to offer warm interest and support without hesitation.”

After the official jamboree schedule ended, the district has welcomed an additional 21 participants from Venezuela and Suriname who stayed in Korea, actively supporting their accommodation and various cultural experience programs.
