On the 12th, Guiot posted several photos on his SNS with President Lee Boo-jin, BLACKPINK member Ros?, actor Lee Jung-jae, and others, saying, "I am very pleased to enter Korea, which has become a hub of trendsetting." He added, "Korea has risen to become one of the world's top three markets in just two years, and we have laid the foundation to open our first store in Seoul. I am grateful to everyone who participated in and celebrated this amazing journey," and "Thank you, Seoul, for embracing us with open arms."

The relationship between President Lee and LVMH came into the spotlight earlier this year. In March, President Lee personally guided Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH, during his visit to the Leeum Museum in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attracting attention. Additionally, in February, President Lee attracted attention by carrying a uniquely designed bag without a logo at the wedding of Jung Joon-sun, son of Jung Mong-kyu, chairman of HDC Group and a professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). It was later revealed that the bag was a product of DESTEREE, managed by Guiot, gaining popularity. The product is known as DESTEREE's 'Gunter Passementerie Bag,' which appears to be made by coiling a rope into a circular shape.

Meanwhile, DESTEREE opened an offline pop-up store on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Department Store Trade Center branch on the 1st of last month and is selling products there on a limited basis until this month.
