Lotte Hotel Group HQ Donates 100 Million Won to Establish Emergency Disaster Relief System

Donation Delivered to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association
Support Relief Kits for Disaster Victims in Emergency Situations

Lotte Hotel Group HQ announced on the 21st that it has donated 100 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to operate a relief kit support system for disaster victims.

At the handover ceremony held on the 20th at the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Lee Sang-jin, Head of Marketing at Lotte Hotel Group HQ, Kim Jeong-hee, Secretary General of the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, and officials from both organizations attended.


The donation made by Lotte Hotel Group HQ this time will be used to establish an emergency relief cooperation system between the two organizations and to provide relief kits to disaster victims within 12 hours of a national disaster occurrence. The relief kits, consisting of hygiene products, medicines, and daily necessities, aim to minimize the damage suffered by disaster victims by delivering them promptly.


Lee Sang-jin, Head of Marketing at Lotte Hotel Group HQ, said, "We hope this will help neighbors who are facing difficulties due to sudden disasters," adding, "We will take the lead in sustainable management through various corporate social responsibility activities at the Hotel Lotte corporate level."


Meanwhile, as part of its social contribution efforts, Hotel Lotte is engaged in sharing and donation activities in various fields such as support for vulnerable groups and environmental friendliness. These include 'Sweet Night,' an event inviting vulnerable groups and multicultural families in Songpa-gu organized by Lotte Hotel; donations to environmental protection projects based on achieving target views for Lotte Duty Free's sustainable travel content 'LDF Original Series aespa episode'; and the 'Let's Donate While Playing Challenge,' conducted jointly by Lotte World and the walking donation platform Big Walk to support organizations for people with severe disabilities.
