The golf membership market is showing a strong steady trend. Corporate purchase inquiries continue, and booking at golf courses bustling with guests remains difficult.
According to Dong-A Membership Trading Center on the 3rd, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide rose 0.45% from last week to 241.29 million KRW. By price range, the ultra-high price segment increased by 0.62%, high price segment by 0.37%, mid-price segment by 0.16%, and low price segment by 0.23%. Dong-A Membership Trading Center stated, "Although inquiries about selling timing for rising items have increased, the accumulated purchase orders maintained a strong steady trend," and forecasted, "As the summer off-season begins, whether buyers remain cautious will be an important variable in the summer membership market."
The average price in the central region is 272.5 million KRW, up 0.49% from last week. Ultra-high price items continued a strong steady trend as corporate purchase orders increased. Nambu rose 0.97%, Namchon 1.03%, Lakeside 1.96%, and Hwasando 1.90%. Taekwang rose 3.13% after stable trading as supply decreased. Hanseong increased 1.11%, Geumgang 1.68%, and Jayu jumped 1.67%. Team leader Park Cheon-ju said, "With individual buying interest flowing in, a fierce game of nerves is expected," and predicted, "The central region membership market will continue a strong steady trend amid ongoing corporate purchase inquiries."
The average price in the southern region rose 0.26% from last week to 160.5 million KRW. Daegu and Pami Hills slightly increased by 0.70% and 0.50% respectively amid intense selling and buying competition. Changwon rose 3.13%, and Bora increased 1.61%. Low-priced memberships are turning cautious in buying. The atmosphere is that high-priced supply has not been resolved. Team leader Lee Yun-hee analyzed, "The southern region membership market will continue a steady trend while showing differentiation by item."
