Sokcho Specialty 'Jungang Dakgangjeong' Signs Food Tech Business Agreement with Ace Robotech Co., Ltd.

Sokcho Specialty 'Jungang Dakgangjeong' Signs Food Tech Business Agreement with Ace Robotech Co., Ltd.

When it comes to the menu that comes to mind at Sokcho Jungang Market in Gangwon-do, it is ‘Dakgangjeong’ (sweet crispy fried chicken). Among them, ‘Jungang Dakgangjeong,’ which has been passed down for three generations over 50 years, announced that it has signed the country’s first “Food Tech Robot Utilization Dakgangjeong Cooking Automation Construction Business Agreement” among Dakgangjeong brands.

The headquarters of the Jungang Dakgangjeong brand, The Navy Plate Co., Ltd. (CEO Son Hee-yong), and the food tech cooking robot company Ace Robotech Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Nam-bin) agreed through this partnership to develop and introduce a cooking automation solution using safe and convenient food tech robots, so that kitchen workers no longer have to work dangerously and laboriously in front of hot fryers. They also plan to cooperate and expand the franchise business to allow convenient purchase nationwide, in addition to the Sokcho Jungang Market main store and Sokcho Expo direct store. Until now, Jungang Dakgangjeong has been selling ‘fresh Dakgangjeong’ products?not frozen foods?to consumers nationwide by collaborating with its official website and domestic dawn delivery companies using its self-developed packaging method, and plans to supply and sell OEM products to major convenience store chains.

Ace Robotech Co., Ltd. has developed a frying cooking robot and has successfully installed and operated it for the first time in large distribution marts such as Kim’s Club and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart. They have also launched a compact robot booth that can be conveniently installed and operated even in narrow spaces. They plan to apply solutions such as a batter cooking device, automatic sauce stirring equipment, and an AI-based vision system, which they have developed, to the cooking robot this time. The robot to be introduced this time will be installed and operated using a 6-axis collaborative robot from Yuil Robotics Co., Ltd., a KOSDAQ-listed company investing in Ace Robotech Co., Ltd., which is making a full-scale entry into the food tech robot market.
