Since its first performance in 2011, it has been the National Ballet Company's most beloved representative repertoire, with every show sold out from the premiere onward, making it a hot topic.

The casting for the Yeosu performance features the top star dancers currently showcasing their best skills in the National Ballet Company, drawing attention. In particular, the performance highlights the debut of Jo Yeon-jae, the next-generation leading dancer of the National Ballet Company, in the role of 'Giselle' for the first time.

Jo Yeon-jae, who joined the company in 2018, made a successful lead debut in just one year later. Although she is the youngest demi-soloist in the National Ballet Company, she is the fastest to be promoted among her peers. With her unique charm and stable technique, she leaves a deep impression on the audience and is recognized as the next-generation principal dancer of the National Ballet Company.

Additionally, Kang Su-jin, the director and artistic director who has achieved the longest tenure in the National Ballet Company, is expected to perform in all shows at the Yeulmaru Grand Theater, attracting great interest.

The story presents the simple country girl Giselle, who falls in love with the noble youth Albrecht to whom she is engaged. It offers a spectacle and deep emotion through her pure and lively appearance, as well as tragic emotional acting that escalates into frenzy after betrayal and tears.

Moreover, the corps de ballet of 24 Willis (ghosts) creates a group dance that is the highlight of Giselle and is considered the pinnacle of ballet blanc (white ballet).

The hopping scenes of the Willis are spectacular. Hopping is a jump performed in an arabesque position with one leg extended upward. Under a bluish, dreamy atmosphere, ballerinas wearing fluttering romantic tutus create a magnificent fantasy world.

Ticket prices are 100,000 KRW for R seats, 80,000 KRW for S seats, and 60,000 KRW for A seats, and the performance is suitable for audiences aged 8 and above.
