[2023 Apartment Brand Awards] Hanyang Leads Smart Residential Innovation by Integrating IoT and AI Technologies

This year, Hanyang, which won the 'Complex Residential' category at the Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards, is leading smart residential innovation by integrating advanced technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into new complexes following the renewal of its housing brand 'Sujain (SUJAIN)'.

The core values of Sujain are based on smart residential technology harmonizing nature and life: Su (秀) - Technology (Smart), Ja (自) - Environment (Eco), In (人) - People (People). In line with this, Hanyang has developed the smart home service 'Sujain Life' to enhance the quality of life for residents.

By using Sujain Life, residents can access automatic entry to shared entrances, visitor vehicle reservations, elevator calls, and community facility bookings through a smartphone app. It also allows control of lighting, gas, heating, and ventilation systems, as well as management of energy usage history.

Sujain Life was first introduced in 'Hanam Gam-il Hanyang Sujain,' which opened in September last year. The currently occupied 'Uijeongbu Gosan Sujain DSTIGE' and the 'Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Graciel,' scheduled to open next month, will feature more advanced technology. These include voice-controlled functions such as lighting control via AI speakers. Notably, Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Graciel also incorporates a 'Weaving Pattern' specialized design certified by Seoul City for excellent design, achieving harmony between technological and artistic aspects.

The Six-Zone system, reflecting Sujain's expertise in creating clean complexes, also stands out. This system divides the complex into six zones, including entrances, underground parking lots, and inside units, to reduce fine dust. Sujain Smart Home wall pads and integrated switches are also applied in the occupied complexes. This technology consolidates various control devices that used to clutter the walls into one unit. Including these, a total of four products were selected as Excellent Design in last year’s 'Good Design (GD) Product Selection,' the most prestigious design competition in Korea.

A Hanyang representative stated, "As the demand for smart residential environments increases, we plan to actively develop new technologies and gradually expand their application according to the characteristics of each complex.
