Sharing Clothing Care Information, Experiencing Tromm 6-Motion Dryer

LG Electronics announced on the 21st that it will hold a laundry culture seminar called 'Laundry Lab' at LG Best Shop. Activities include experiencing the Tromm 6-Motion Dryer and sharing clothing care information.

LG Electronics held the first seminar on the 18th at the LG Best Shop Gangseo Main Store. The seminar topic was 'Solutions for Damp Odors During the Upcoming Rainy Season.' They shared how to use 'TrueSteam,' which is effective for fabric sterilization and deodorization, and the additional upgraded feature 'Post-Cycle Garment Care.'

A Tromm dryer experience space called 'Our Neighborhood Self-Drying Room' has been set up at LG Best Shop. The Tromm dryer features LG Electronics' unique washing and drying method, the '6-Motion Drying' function. Customers can bring wet laundry after spinning and visit LG Best Shop to experience the performance of the Tromm dryer. The Self-Drying Room is available at about 40 major stores nationwide, including LG Best Shop Gangseo Main Store, Bulgwang Main Store, Bundang Main Store, and Anyang Store.

LG Electronics was the first in the world to apply the 'DD (Direct Drive) motor' to dryers in 2021. The DD motor is a core component that LG Electronics first applied to washing machines in the industry in 1998. Unlike conventional motors connected by belts, it directly connects the drum and motor, allowing precise control of drum rotation speed. Tromm washing machines and dryers are equipped with AI DD motors. Through deep learning functions, the motor recognizes the fabric material and selects the optimal course among the 6 motions to minimize fabric damage.

Park Won-young, head of Living Solution Marketing at LG Electronics Korea Sales Headquarters, said, "We will increase customer touchpoints by allowing customers to freely experience the differentiated 6-Motion LG Tromm dryer in stores and holding washing and drying seminars."

LG Electronics plans to hold a seminar titled 'Making Eco-Friendly Soap and Learning About Microplastic Care Courses' at LG Best Shop Bulgwang Main Store on the 8th of next month. Various laundry culture seminars with different themes will be held at LG Best Shop until August.

To participate in the seminar, reservations can be made on the LG Electronics website event page. Participants will receive gifts such as laundry detergent and reusable bags.
