'2023 Seoul Rose Festival'... A Variety of Events Including Multicultural Festival and Bulgarian Traditional Performances

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, is giving a greeting speech at the 'Multicultural Performance' held at Surimdae Rose Garden on the 20th.

The '2023 Seoul Rose Festival' is in full swing in Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi).

On the 20th, the second day of the festival's main event, the 'Grand Rose Festival,' families, friends, and couples continued to visit without pause.

On this day, a variety of attractions, food, and experience booths to enjoy along with roses were set up.

First, at Surimdae Rose Garden, diverse performances such as the Bulgarian folk troupe and multicultural performances delighted the eyes and ears of festival visitors. Especially this year, the 13th Multicultural Festival was held together, featuring stages with traditional dances from Mongolia and Kazakhstan, a choir of marriage immigrants, dances by multicultural children, and fusion gugak (traditional Korean music) performances, creating a festival venue that everyone could enjoy.

Also, food booths where visitors could taste traditional dishes from Vietnam, the Philippines, and other countries, made directly by marriage immigrants, will continue until the 21st.

In addition, various genres of cultural and artistic performances, including busking by Jungnang artists and indie band concerts, filled the festival grounds, adding joy to the visitors.

On the Rose Music Garden stage, popular singers such as Lyn, Mongni, and Park Boram joined to offer the audience happy spring memories.
