Namhae-gun Announces Re-sale of Residential and Neighborhood Land in Jeonwon Village

Namhai-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is re-leasing unsold residential and neighborhood land plots in Hwagyeyeon Village in Idong-myeon and Munhang Village in Seolcheon-myeon.

These two villages are rural communities established for returning residents and urban dwellers wishing to experience rural life. Each offers views of Aenggang Bay and Gangjin Bay, harmonizing with the natural environment.

Gyeongnam Namhae-gun is re-leasing unsold residential and neighborhood land plots in Hwagyjeon Rural Village, Idong-myeon, and Munhang Rural Village, Seolcheon-myeon.

The re-leasing target plots include 10 plots in Hwagyeyeon Village (7 residential plots, 3 neighborhood plots) and 1 residential plot in Munhang Village, totaling 11 plots, with sizes ranging from 500㎡ to 760㎡.

The sale price averages 216,000 KRW/㎡ for residential plots and 318,000 KRW/㎡ for neighborhood plots, varying by plot.

Applicants can refer to the announcement posted on the Namhae-gun Office website and apply to the Namhae-gun Economic Division by December 29, 2023, for residential plots, and by May 31 for neighborhood plots. Residential plots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, while neighborhood plots are allocated by lottery.

Selected buyers must pay the intermediate payment six months after the contract and the balance after the building completion. Construction must start within one year from the contract date and be completed within one year from the start date. However, a one-year extension is possible due to reasons such as rising material costs.

An official from Namhae-gun stated, “Since residential plots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, remaining plots may be sold quickly. We ask for the interest of those wishing to return or relocate to the countryside.”
