Woori Agricultural Protection Movement Headquarters Gyeongnam Regional Office Donates Rice to Goseong County

In Celebration of Family Month, 260 Bags of 'Love[LOVE] Rice[米]' Delivered

The Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Save Our Agriculture Movement Headquarters donated 260 bags (10kg each) of "Love[LOVE] Rice[米]" to Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, on the 9th in celebration of "May, the Month of Family."


This donation was organized by the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Save Our Agriculture Movement Headquarters and sponsored by NH Nonghyup Goseong-gun Branch.


It was prepared to practice sharing projects targeting low-income and marginalized groups within Goseong-gun and to support rural areas in celebration of the Month of Family.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, "I am very grateful for this meaningful sharing event," and added, "The Love Rice will be properly delivered to neighbors in need within the county."


Head Ryu Seung-wan stated, "The Save Our Agriculture Movement Headquarters is a social organization operated with funds raised through voluntary donations from executives and employees of the Nonghyup Federation, leading various social contribution activities," and added, "We hope the Love Rice will be of some help to vulnerable groups within Goseong."


The county plans to deliver the donated rice to low-income and marginalized groups within the county through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.


The Save Our Agriculture Movement Headquarters is a social contribution organization operated with funds raised from voluntary donations of at least 1,000 won per month by executives and employees of the Nonghyup Federation. It also leads various social contribution activities such as free longevity photo shoots, lunchbox support, and fairy tale book support projects.
