Corporate Lunch Subscription Service Plating Hosts Brand Collaboration Event with Rewind for Earth Day

Food tech startup Plating, which operates the corporate lunch subscription service "Chef's Visiting Cafeteria," teamed up with Rewind, well known for its biodegradable disposable products brand "I Am Greener," to celebrate Earth Day in April.

On the 21st, Plating announced that it held a "Plating X Rewind" brand collaboration event in honor of Earth Day for the employees of Delight Room, the operator of Alarmi, the world's number one alarm application and one of Plating's service clients.

At this event, to reflect on the meaning of Earth Day, Delight Room's office and dining space were decorated as a plant garden, and Plating chefs provided employees with fusion Korean dishes made using vegan ingredients. Notably, all tableware used during the event was biodegradable and eco-friendly products from Rewind.

Meanwhile, a corner of the event venue was set up as a plant photo zone, and a succulent planting experience area using Rewind's eco-friendly plant pots was prepared, offering visual and interactive enjoyment to the employees present.

In addition, eco-friendly products from Rewind, such as bamboo fiber straws, were given as souvenirs through on-site events, providing further delight to the employees.

One participant said, "This day could have easily been overlooked, but I am grateful to Plating for helping us reflect on its meaning." They added, "Above all, it is amazing how a dull office space can be transformed at once with the chefs' excellent food and beautiful visuals. I thank the company and Plating for bringing great joy to office workers."

A marketing team representative from Plating, who organized the event, explained the motivation behind the collaboration with Rewind: "We planned this event to offer our clients a special experience on Earth Day and to provide office workers with a moment of rest and recharging during their lunch break."

Jang Kyung-wook, CEO of Plating, stated, "Plating has been leading various ESG activities such as using reusable tableware and alternative meats to create social and environmental value. As part of these efforts, we prepared this event with gratitude to our clients who love Plating's services. Going forward, Plating will continue to innovate workplace dining culture and actively promote social value creation activities while leading ESG management for sustainable development."

Plating's "Chef's Visiting Cafeteria" is a subscription-based cafeteria service in the form of CaaS (Cafeteria-as-a-Service) that can provide delicious lunches to employees with just a small unused space in the office. Based on data, exclusive chefs develop menus, deliver and set up freshly prepared meals in the office's unused space, and handle collection after meals. It is available for companies with a minimum of 25 diners and offers customized services not only for lunch but also for breakfast, commemorative events, and other occasions.
