The White House, boasting one of the world's most advanced security systems, was breached by a toddler who had just begun to walk.

On the 18th (local time), US media outlets including CNN reported that a young boy crawled through the iron fence of the White House and infiltrated the north lawn, prompting the Secret Service to respond urgently.

The child separated from his parents squeezed through a gap in the iron fence on the north side of the White House and trespassed. As soon as the child intruded, the White House security system was activated, and Secret Service agents were dispatched. The agents reunited the child with his parents, and the incident was resolved.

However, the situation was reportedly not serious.

Anthony Gulielmi, Chief of Communications for the Secret Service, said, "Today, we met a curious young visitor who breached the north fence of the White House," adding, "We waited until the child could speak to question him, but the child got a timeout (a break during a sports game) and went to his parents," jokingly.

This is not the first time a child has crawled through and trespassed at the White House. A similar incident occurred in 2014 during the presidency of Barack Obama. Just before President Obama's national address on the Iraq situation, a child entered through the iron bars of the White House fence, causing the White House to be temporarily closed.
