Providing the 'Yeoha Jindoye 1' Booklet to Experience Completers
Jindo County in Jeollanam-do will hold the ‘Jindo Cultural Heritage 6-Item Stamp Rally’ event in conjunction with the Jindo Mysterious Sea Road Festival starting on the 20th.
According to the county on the 11th, the stamp rally is a program where participants experience Jindo’s cultural heritage items such as Jindo Arirang, Jindo Ssikkimgut, Jindo Buknori, Jindo Sopogul Gun Nongak, Jindo Yeottaryeong, and Jindo Seohwa, and collect stamps for all six items.
Anyone can participate for free, and the stamp mission locations are at the Jindo Mysterious Sea Road Festival site. Those who complete the rally will receive the ‘Yeo-ga Jindoye 1’ booklet as a souvenir.
The ‘Yeo-ga Jindoye 1’ booklet is a publication by Jindo County featuring 58 award-winning works from the 1st Jindo Sea Road Wish Photo Essay National Contest, held to ensure the successful hosting of the festival.
During the festival, the county plans to offer special gifts while visitors enjoy the brilliant intangible cultural heritage that can only be experienced in Bobaeseom Jindo County, the only folk culture and arts special zone in South Korea.
An official from the Tourism Department said, “We hope that the excellence and charm of Jindo’s folk culture will be widely known through the 43rd Jindo Mysterious Sea Road Festival this year,” and added, “We hope people enjoy the festival more by participating in the stamp rally.”
Meanwhile, the Jindo Mysterious Sea Road Festival, under the theme ‘Land of Wishes, Sea of Miracles,’ will be held from the 20th to the 22nd with over 70 diverse programs including the Sea Road Meeting Hanmadang, Wish Pebble Sea Road Experience, and EDM All Night Stand Show.
