In the full bloom of spring, people with and without disabilities spent meaningful time together walking in the park.
On the morning of the 4th, Busan Facilities Corporation, in cooperation with the Busan City Disabled Welfare Center, held an event to create a space for communication between people with and without disabilities along the Oncheoncheon walking trail in Dongnae-gu, Busan.
At the site, 10 employees from the corporation's Social Welfare Department and 20 people with disabilities and staff from the welfare center walked together along the Oncheoncheon walking trail, where various spring flowers were in full bloom. They spent a meaningful time understanding each other's differences through activities such as pushing wheelchairs, assisting with walking, and taking photos.
Also, in celebration of the 78th Arbor Day, the ‘Ssedam Ssedam Walking’ campaign, an environmental protection ‘plogging’ activity involving picking up trash while walking together along the local landmark Oncheoncheon walking trail, was conducted. A lunch meeting related to work was also held.
Representatives from both organizations agreed to further cooperate to promote the welfare of people with disabilities and to jointly pursue various social contribution activities related to disabilities.
