The bizarre atrocities of Yang Jin-ho, chairman of Korea Future Technology, who caused social upheaval through the mass distribution of obscene materials via the 'webhard cartel' and 'gapjil' (abuse of power) against employees, are being re-examined through the Channel A broadcast of 'Black 2: Soul Destroyers' on the 1st.

Chairman Yang forced employees to wear suits and white shirts, and did not allow shirts with colored buttons. It is also known that he shot a BB gun at an employee during a meeting and prevented employees from going to the restroom during company dinners.

He also took employees in their 40s and 50s directly to hair salons to dye their hair in flashy colors such as red and green, and instructed one employee to dye their hair in a color he described as "the color of sundae liver."

Not only that, Chairman Yang attached leeches to the bodies of employees who complained of shoulder or knee pain, took employees to his villa to shoot live chickens with a bow, and if an employee failed to shoot the bow, handed them a long knife to slaughter the chicken. Additionally, he engaged in bizarre behavior by writing his name with lipstick on a female employee’s body and taking photos.

Besides these incomprehensible orders, it was revealed that he also wiretapped employees. Using a self-developed smartphone eavesdropping program, he monitored about 70 employees and collected tens of thousands of pieces of personal information on smartphones, including text messages, contacts, photos, internet usage records, and officetel passwords.

Chairman Yang was previously arrested after making a large sum of money through illegal distribution of obscene materials, and after his release, he reportedly intensified his sadistic surveillance of employees due to his belief that he was imprisoned because of their betrayal.

Yang’s bizarre behavior was exposed in October 2018 when a video showing him indiscriminately assaulting all employees in front of them was released.

The victim in the video posted a message on a customer bulletin board under the name 'Yang Jin-ho' after resigning, expressing appreciation. After seeing this, Yang’s side tracked the victim’s IP, identified the author, and persistently summoned and assaulted them.

Not only Yang’s bizarre abuse of power but also the 'webhard cartel' issue, which involved uploading illegal videos to webhard sites and charging sexual crime victims for deletion fees, was criticized.

Meanwhile, in February, at the Suwon District Court Seongnam Branch Criminal Division 1 (presiding judge Kang Dong-won), Yang was sentenced to five years in prison for violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (distribution and aiding of obscene materials), embezzlement, violation of the Punishment of Tax Offenses Act, and aiding copyright law violations. The court also ordered him to complete 40 hours of sexual violence treatment programs, disclose personal information, and imposed a seven-year employment ban at institutions related to children and adolescents.

Separately, a five-year prison sentence was confirmed for his abuse of employees. In April 2014, the Supreme Court sentenced Chairman Yang to five years in prison for habitual assault and other charges. Regarding breach of trust charges, he was sentenced to two years in prison in the appellate court, and the case is currently pending at the Supreme Court.
