Daehong Planning and Busan City Launch 'Green Clean Challenge' Campaign

Praying for the Success of Busan World Expo Bid

Daehong Planning announced on the 29th that it will hold the ‘Greencle Challenge’ campaign to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo from the 30th of this month to the 9th of next month in Busan.

The Greencle Challenge is a compound word of Green (meaning environment) and Bicycle, where participants ride a bicycle that generates electricity as they pedal while enjoying a cycling game watching a 75-inch large DID panel. As participants pedal the bicycle, the temperature gauge of the Earth displayed on the panel moves downwards, reflecting the amount of electricity generated, and the player who travels the farthest distance by pedaling the electric bicycle for 90 seconds wins.

This campaign is designed to allow citizens to directly experience the theme of the 2030 Busan World Expo, “The Great Transformation of the World, Sailing Toward a Better Future,” coinciding with the onsite inspection by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in early April. In particular, the electric energy generated through the Greencle Challenge will be donated to vulnerable groups via Naver Happy Bean Good Action after the event ends.

The campaign locations are three places: Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, K-pop Square at COEX in Seoul, and Busan Station Square. Activities include ▲ Greencle Challenge experience ▲ renewable energy experience ▲ introduction to the World Expo ▲ online signature campaign supporting the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo. Visitors who participate in all campaign activities will receive goods such as strap keyrings and reusable bags on a first-come, first-served basis.
