"Didn't you dislike Moon?" question... Cho Kuk "I will not answer"

Cho Kuk, Gwangju Book Concert... Held Together with Daughter Cho Min
"As Chief Presidential Secretary, It's Right Not to Respond"

Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk attended a book concert in Gwangju, and when asked by an audience member, "Did you feel resentment or disappointment towards former President Moon Jae-in?" he showed signs of difficulty in answering, saying, "That is a very difficult question."

On the 28th, Cho held a book concert for his book "Cho Kuk's Legal Classics Walk" at the Gwangju Theater in Dong-gu, Gwangju, together with his daughter Cho Min. More than 500 audience members attended the event, where discussions covered various topics such as the May 18 Democratic Uprising, government solutions for forced labor during Japanese occupation, the younger generation, and his future political path.

During the Q&A session, when an audience member asked, "Did you feel resentment or disappointment towards former President Moon?" Cho paused briefly and said, "You asked a very difficult question."

He continued, "I think there are people who criticize and are dissatisfied with the policies and governance of former President Moon. There are merits and limitations, and all of these should be evaluated together."

When asked further, "Personally, do you feel resentment or disappointment?" he refrained from answering, saying, "As a chief presidential secretary who served under former President Moon, I think it is appropriate not to answer."

Cho also avoided answering questions related to the appointment process of then Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl during the Moon Jae-in administration. He said, "No Young-min, the presidential chief of staff, and Representative Choi Kang-wook have partially revealed details through YouTube or media interviews. I also have much I want to say, but since it concerns personnel confidentiality, I think it is right not to speak about it."
