Microbiome drug development company GobioLab announced on the 28th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a comprehensive business partnership with Kakao Healthcare.

Through this MOU, the two companies plan to explore businesses related to personalized precision medicine and nutrition solutions applying microbiome technology. They will build a differentiated digital bio healthcare platform by utilizing GobioLab's real data and expertise. Through this, they agreed to mutually cooperate to enhance user accessibility and create various related value-added businesses.
The company explained that combining GobioLab's know-how and data with Kakao Healthcare's digital platform technology will enable the provision of sophisticated solutions for personalized health management. Kakao Healthcare is collaborating with hospitals and major healthcare companies.
A GobioLab representative stated, "By combining Kakao Healthcare's mobile, artificial intelligence, and medical information technologies with GobioLab's microbiome platform technology and expertise accumulated over many years, it will be possible to present a personalized digital bio healthcare solution with international competitiveness."
