EDGC, Personalized Genetic Information with Generative AI... World's First AI DGSNS 'Innovation Platform'

Beta Launch of Decentralized Genome Social Network Service Based on Genetic Information in May
Expansion of User Services and Revolutionary Enhancement of Security and Privacy Protection

EDGC (Eone Diagnomics Genome Center), a precision medicine company specializing in genome analysis, announced on the 27th that it is developing the world's first gene information-based artificial intelligence decentralized genome social network service (DGSNS). After an alpha test next month, the beta version is scheduled to open in May.

Yugenity is a blockchain application platform (Web3.0)-based social network service applying GenieCode, a decentralized identity verification (GDID) developed by EDGC. It uses decentralized identity verification that digitizes an individual's unique genetic information into a digital ID through blockchain technology, enabling the creation of unique profiles and utilization of various applications. Additionally, strong security technology can dramatically enhance user service safety and personal information protection.

Utilizing decentralized applications and sequencing data, the service can provide offerings based on users' genetic information related to well-being, health, lineage, and ancestry, which is another strength. AI algorithm analysis offers customized content based on users' genetic traits and activity information within Yugenity. It also proposes networks with users. By applying genome-based generative AI linked with ChatGPT, it will be provided as an interactive service on the social network.

EDGC plans to offer not only health-related customized information based on genetic data but also various services predicting user preferences once the Yugenity service is fully launched. Unique non-fungible tokens (NFTs) created from genetic information can provide personalized art and music works, and personalized information such as food, education, and cultural activities tailored to individual tendencies can also be delivered.

EDGC CEO Lee Min-seop said, "Yugenity is the world's first artificial intelligence decentralized genome social network service aligned with blockchain-based decentralization and generative AI trends," adding, "It will be a completely new form of innovative platform differentiated from existing ones through various services based on genetic information."

EDGC, together with the US NGENI research institute, introduced GenieCode, a decentralized identity verification that digitizes genetic information containing unique personal data like fingerprints into 24 codes, and has completed patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and in Korea.
