Leica Biosystems (President Gustavo Perez, hereinafter referred to as Leica) held the '2023 Asia Pacific Kickoff Meeting' in Da Nang, Vietnam, where it announced the Vision 200 roadmap.
Namhoon Kim, President of Leica's Asia Pacific region, presented the Vision 200 roadmap for the next five years at the kickoff meeting and urged employees to establish themselves as trusted partners to customers in order to realize Leica's core value of 'advancing cancer diagnosis and improving quality of life.'
In addition, to embed the company's key values of diversity, equity, and inclusion into the corporate culture while focusing on strengthening organizational capabilities, activities such as holding mini-forums on these key values were conducted to jointly practice social values.
All employees from the Asia Pacific region participated in this kickoff meeting. They spent time assembling wheelchairs together and donating them to local organizations.
Jungrok Lee, President of Leica's North Asia region (including Korea), said, “This event was very meaningful as Leica could jointly practice social values as a global company. It was a significant experience for many employees to gather in one place and collaborate for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Meanwhile, Leica Biosystems, celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, has established itself as a cancer diagnostics company and a global leader in digital pathology and workflow solutions. Leica currently operates in more than 100 countries, including its Korean branch, providing products and services that cover the entire workflow.
