The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 23rd that it held the 'Evening Care Participating Students Safety Management Enhancement Council' at the open meeting room of the Jeonnam Police Agency, with care staff participating.
This event was held recently following the Autonomous Police Committee council to strengthen patrols of schools operating evening care and to conduct detailed consultations with relevant departments of the Jeonnam Police Agency.

Council participants shared the current status of evening care operations and discussed cooperation plans between schools and nearby police stations and precincts for the safety management of students participating in evening care.
In particular, through active cooperation requests from school officials, a cooperative system between nearby police stations and precincts will be established to strengthen linked patrols of schools operating evening care.
Additionally, in connection with security companies, a demand survey will be conducted for automatic door open/close devices at the main entrances of care classrooms, intercoms, and emergency bell systems that can immediately report in case of a crisis, followed by support plans.
Kim Jaegi, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, stated, “As the operating hours of care classrooms have been extended, concerns about student safety are increasing,” and urged, “Through the establishment of a cooperative system between schools and local communities, more efficient safety management of students will be achieved.”
