How many visitors come to places promoting nuclear energy and power plants? Over 3 million people have visited a promotional center in the Busan area over the past 45 years.
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Headquarters (Head Lee Gwang-hoon) announced on the 20th that the cumulative number of visitors to the Gori Nuclear Headquarters promotional center, 'Gori Energy Farm,' located in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, has surpassed 3 million.
On this day, the Gori Nuclear Headquarters held a celebration event and presented a bouquet and gifts to the 3 millionth visitor, Hong Jong-hye (from Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam), by Lee Gwang-hoon, head of the Gori Nuclear Headquarters, Kim Jong-i, director of external cooperation, and promotional staff.

Hong, who visited Gori Energy Farm by participating in the 'One Day Tour' organized by the Gori Nuclear Headquarters, said, "I applied because I wanted to see the power plant up close while preparing for employment at KHNP, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive this gift."
The One Day Tour is a cultural excursion program operated monthly by the Gori Nuclear Headquarters for citizens, combining power plant tours with visits to popular restaurants and local attractions.
Gori Energy Farm, which opened in July 1978 with the completion of Gori Unit 1, was relocated to its current location in April 2007 and has since attracted various visitors, including local residents.
In 2020, it was remodeled from an exhibition-focused space into a rest and experience area featuring an energy playground and a book caf?, becoming a "hot place" visited by over 50,000 people annually.
Lee Gwang-hoon, head of the Gori Nuclear Headquarters, said, "We will continue to develop exhibition content, provide attractions, and host diverse events to make Gori Energy Farm a complex cultural space visited by more citizens."
