Gimhae Economic Forum Hosts Lecture by Kang Pil-hyun, Director of Busan Design Promotion Agency

The 176th Gyeongnam Gimhae Economic Forum was held on the 17th at the 5th-floor Grand Banquet Hall of the Gimhae Small and Medium Business Business Center.

According to the city, Kang Pil-hyun, director of the Busan Design Promotion Agency, was invited to this forum.

Director Kang led the forum under the theme "Design Preparing Future Industries and Society for a Region Where Citizens Are Happy."

He emphasized, "The design field must be advanced by integrating with digital technology as a means to create corporate innovation and future markets."

He also stated, "To strengthen corporate competitiveness, it is important to connect and promote products and services based on design well enough to succeed in the market and to link them to investment channels."

The city exhibited encouraging economic innovation writings personally authored by authoritative experts from various fields of the Korean economy, alongside the Gimhae Economic Forum, on the lobby wall of the 1st floor of the Gimhae Life Science Industry Promotion Agency to convey the will to realize the economic capital of the southeastern region preparing for the next 100 years to citizens and entrepreneurs.

Mayor Hong Tae-yong said, "We installed the exhibition on the wall of the Gimhae Economic Forum speakers to open a newly growing Gimhae economy while looking forward to the next 100 years with citizens, entrepreneurs, and experts," adding, "As this year was declared the first year of economic innovation, we will make further efforts to secure new economic growth engines."
