Haman-gun Implements 'Serious Accident Prevention Consulting Support Project'

Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, in collaboration with the Haman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is recruiting participating companies for the "2023 Major Accident Prevention Consulting Support Project" until the 31st.

The "Major Accident Prevention Consulting Support Project" is a program utilizing professional organizations aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in the area that find it difficult to establish safety and health management systems due to low capacity and financial limitations. This project is being launched for the first time this year.

The main contents include △ production of safety and health management manuals △ inspection of the seven core elements for establishing a safety and health management system △ support for training business owners and work managers.

The support target is workplaces located in Haman-gun with 5 to fewer than 50 employees. If there are many applicants, priority will be given to high-risk workplaces with a history of industrial accidents. Workplaces that have previously received government safety and health management system consulting support are excluded.

Jung Hyun-gwan, Director of Safety General Affairs, said, "The '2023 Major Accident Prevention Consulting Support Project' is a program to alleviate the technical and financial burdens of small and medium-sized workplaces struggling to establish and implement safety and health management systems," and added, "We ask for active participation from workplaces with 5 to fewer than 50 employees in the area."
