Providing High-Performance Gaming OLED Monitors to Athletes
Competing in Domestic and International eSports Tournaments Wearing Uniforms with Logo Attached

LG Display announced on the 14th that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the global esports team DRX and will promote gaming OLED (organic light-emitting diode), a market-creating business.

At the end of last year, LG Display completed the development of a 27-inch OLED panel optimized for gaming and a 45-inch ultra-wide (21:9) OLED panel and has begun full-scale mass production. Currently, it supplies panels to global IT product manufacturers and gaming gear brands such as LG Electronics, ASUS, and Corsair.

DRX is one of the esports teams that have recorded the best results and multiple championships in domestic and international competitions.

Through this sponsorship, LG Display will provide high-performance gaming OLED monitors to DRX players participating in 'Valorant,' 'Tekken,' and 'Warcraft 3.' The players will compete in esports tournaments held domestically and internationally wearing uniforms featuring the 'LG Display Gaming OLED' logo. In addition, LG Display plans to jointly carry out various promotional activities with DRX to highlight the excellence of gaming OLED.

DRX professional gamers using LG Display gaming OLED gave evaluations such as "The color expression of the gaming display is the best I have ever used," "The response time is definitely fast," "There is no light reflection," and "I look at the monitor for more than 10 hours a day on average, and eye fatigue has significantly decreased."
