NST to Host 'Promising Commercialization Technology Fair 2023' on the 14th
An event where you can simultaneously explore the commercialization promising technologies of national research institutes that "lay golden eggs" will be held.
The National Science and Technology Research Council (NST) will hold the ‘NST-Government-Funded Research Institutes (hereafter referred to as GFRIs) Commercialization Promising Technology Fair 2023’ on the 14th at the Yangjae AT Center. This event is the first to showcase commercialization promising technologies from GFRIs in the field of national strategic technologies since the ‘National Strategic Technology Development Plan’ was established and announced at the National Science and Technology Advisory Council in October. Among the 12 national strategic technology fields, 55 promising commercialization technologies will be presented in four innovation-leading fields (Semiconductors & Displays, Secondary Batteries, Advanced Mobility, Next-Generation Nuclear Power).
Along with presentations by researchers on 10 outstanding technologies in the fields of Semiconductors & Displays, Secondary Batteries, and Advanced Mobility, 1:1 technical consultations between researchers and companies, as well as public technology matching from GFRIs for consulting on corporate difficulties, will be conducted.

In particular, attention is drawn to high-strength flexible optical film process technology with world-class mechanical properties and optical characteristics, secondary battery manufacturing technology that suppresses deactivation and has succeeded in improving durability by 200%, and cutting-edge smart mobility technology that has improved moving object tracking rates to over 85% based on various sensors.
Companies wishing to participate can check the submitted technology information and apply for participation and 1:1 technical consultations through the joint TLO website. NST plans to hold the commercialization promising technology fair four times this year.
NST Director Kim Bok-cheol emphasized, “Through the commercialization promising technology fair targeting national strategic technologies, we hope it will be an opportunity for practical technology transfer and commercialization, and furthermore, to expand the foundation for future growth.”
