Incheon K-Pop (INK) Concert Selected for Korea Tourism Organization Support Project for 6 Consecutive Years

Incheon Tourism Organization announced on the 13th that the INK (Incheon K-POP) concert has been selected for the Korea Tourism Organization's '2023 K-POP Concert Support Project.'

The Korea Tourism Organization supports tourism products related to K-POP concerts held nationwide, as well as promotion and marketing expenses, to expand the attraction of foreign tourists and commercialize tourism products.

This year, among 12 participating local governments, four organizations including Incheon were selected through evaluation.

Except for 2019 when the concert was canceled due to the African swine fever outbreak, the INK concert has been selected for the national funding project for six consecutive years since 2017 and will receive 200 million KRW in national funding this time.

Held since 2009, the INK concert is celebrating its 14th edition this year and is a representative domestic K-POP concert. It was also previously selected as one of the 'Top 100 K-Culture Tourism Events.'

An official from Incheon Tourism Organization stated, "Based on the know-how accumulated over several years, our strategies for attracting tourists and overseas marketing received excellent evaluations, which led to our selection. We will do our best to prepare so that attendees can safely enjoy the concert."

This year's INK concert is scheduled to be held on September 9 at Incheon Munhak Stadium.
