Upcycling fashion brand Recode announced on the 3rd that it has collaborated with SM Entertainment to release T-shirts upcycled from the stage costumes of K-POP artists.
This collaborative upcycling T-shirt utilized stage costumes from Super Junior, EXO, and NCT. The stage costumes worn directly by the artists were deconstructed and designed as patches, and the T-shirts were made from recycled fabrics. Each product is marked with the number ‘1,’ indicating that the design is unique and one of a kind.
The costumes worn by K-POP artists eventually end up being discarded. Recode adds value to sustainability and shares positive influence through upcycling the stage costumes of K-POP artists.
The collaborative T-shirts are available from the 3rd at the Catwalk Festa held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, the Recode store in the Itaewon Series Corner, and Kolon Mall.
