Volvo Korea Releases S90 Advertisement Featuring Actress Kim Sin-rok

Volvo Cars Korea unveiled a new commercial for its flagship sedan, the S90, featuring actress Kim Shin-rok on the 2nd.


The newly released commercial focuses on the S90's slogan, "True Luxury." It highlights the restrained and elegant design, the sound system that offers new inspiration, and smart connectivity, all showcasing the unique true luxury of the S90.


Actress Kim Shin-rok, selected as the commercial model, delivered powerful performances in the Netflix drama "Hellbound" and the JTBC drama "Jaebeoljip Maknae Adeul." Her distinctive and intellectual aura is said to perfectly match the image of the Volvo S90.

Along with the new commercial release, Volvo Korea is hosting an S90 test drive event at dealerships nationwide. Customers who apply for a test drive online by the 31st of this month and visit a dealership to complete the test drive by the 14th of next month will receive a Shinsegae gift certificate.


Lee Man-sik, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, "Through the S90 commercial featuring actress Kim Shin-rok, we aimed to convey the message that the true luxury Volvo Cars pursues is 'a valuable experience and restrained dignity itself.'" He shared the significance of this commercial.


The S90 is Volvo Cars' flagship sedan model. Based on Swedish luxury, it targets the E-segment market. It offers spaciousness with a length exceeding 5 meters, various advanced safety features, an eco-friendly powertrain, and smart digital connectivity. Last year, 4,361 units of the S90 were sold, accounting for about 30% of Volvo Cars' domestic sales.
